Our Jewelry is not only some of the worlds finest designs and handcrafted, but it is also a product of a storied family. It is designed by husband and wife, Dave and Alayna Kidd, and sold with love all over the country by the family. In essence, every piece of Spur Ranch Jewelry combines the best of over 40 years of Caribbean jewelry tradition from Alayna and her family and over 100 years of Wyoming Ranching history from Dave and his family. Alayna – often called the "Caribbean Cowgirl" after representing the Virgin Islands in the Central American Games, Pam American Games and Olympics in Track and Field, Fencing and Show Jumping – fell in love with cowboy-skier Dave while at Texas A&M University. Spur Ranch Jewelry is named after the family brand that has been on Dave’s Wyoming cattle and horses over 100 years of ranching history, and the horses we raise can be found all of the country competing at the highest level in both the Western Arena and the Quarter Horse Race Tracks.

Our family is completed by two 29 year old twins -a boy and girl- with daughter Serina graduating in finance while Alpine Ski Racing for the University of Denver (NCAA champions) and son David Jr graduated from Harvard Law School. David Jr expanded the family small business to Farmer Markets and other venues, and you’ll see Dave and Alayna traveling all over the country selling at these events! Similarly, you used to find Alayna in the Vendors Plaza "Caribbean Cowgirl" St. Thomas US Virgin Islands. Now may catch Dave and his team at Motorcycle events Sturgis and Daytona Beach and Alayna at the Steamboat Springs Farmers Market summer time. If you are lucky you and see Serina and Alayna barrel race Fridays or Saturdays nights summer in the Steamboat Pro Rodeo series… come cheer for them!

When we aren't with the jewelry, you will find us working with the Quarter Horses. Alayna is a pro barrel racer and Dave breeds all the horses she rides. Dave has a great breeding program with his American Quarter Horse Racing program. Colorado is their home now with Dave opening up IMPULSE Jewelry and gifts downtown in Steamboat Springs at 635 Lincoln Avenue between 6th and 7th street on the corner in Old Town Square.
